The material handler is responsible for receiving, storage, filling production lines and shipping materials, parts, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility. This person records movement of incoming and outgoing materials and verifies the accuracy of work performed within SAP and the Warehouse Management system as required.

Your responsibilities

• Uses the scanner for managing stock locations in the warehouse
• Works with Purchasing, Planners, Schedulers, Suppliers, and Technicians to
perform daily functions and resolve issues.
• Performs cycle counts and works with the logistics team with root cause analysis
• Performs other warehouse duties as designated by supervisor or manager.
• Operate appropriately within respective areas of the Quality Program
• Additional responsibilities and activities may be added on a need basis, as assigned by management
• Physical inventory and cycle counting process skills
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment; Forklift operation, Pallet Jack, tugger/ladder, battery charger,
• Understanding of receiving and shipping process
• Become aware of the TKASA Quality Program

Your profile

Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred educational requirements:
Technical and administrative skills: SAP, Warehouse Management, Excel, Word preferred

Experience:
1-3 years of warehousing and inventory control experience
Labor conditions:
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in physical environment i.e. sitting, standing, moving on and off a fork truck
• Must be able to pass a physical evaluation and drug screen
