Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Coordinator – Service Operations/ Repair to join our world class team in Westchester, NY.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

·  Responsible for processing elevator repairs so that jobs are set up and organized within the Oracle system and communicated to ensure repairs are completed in an efficient, timely and profitable manner
·  Communicates frequently with customers to schedule repairs, answer questions and to follow up after repair completion
·  Maintains the backlog database, includes reviewing costs with managers, coordinating cost corrections with payroll and purchasing
·  Checks job costs for repairs ready to bill
·  Updates if costs are in the line with the estimate
·  Works with customers and branch operations to resolve billing issues in a timely manner
·  Maintains list of open projects (adding new projects and removing completed projects)
·  Organizes information related to individual projects from various internal and external sources
·  Reviews contracts and booking packages to determine billing terms of each project
·  Responsible for creating tickets for mechanics for both service and repair
·  Responsible for assisting operations superintendents and manager with managing daily callbacks, including rerouting tickets, contacting customers, dispatching entrapment calls, etc.
·  Responsible for managing, tracking and updating all regional rollouts and mandates, including but not limited to MAX, eMAX, Oracle, elevate, Servicesight, etc.
·  Coordinate branch safety training and update files, tracking spreadsheet, etc. accordingly
·  Other duties as assigned

Your profile

·  Previous experience in repair coordination, ordering parts or billing preferred
·  Strong knowledge of Windows Excel, Word, Outlook
·  Minimum of 1 year of Oracle or other ERP system experience, preferred
·  Two year Business College and/or two years working in a fast paced office environment
·  Good attendance record and strong customer service skills
·  Ability to remain calm when confronted with difficult situations

·  Takes direction in a positive manner
·  Team Player but also self-starter and comfortable working on projects alone
