Components Technology - Our Business Area Components Technology is passionate about everything that moves. Furthermore, Rotek is a market leader for seamless forged steel and non-ferrous metal rings.

Your responsibilities

This is a 3rd (third) shift position in which the qualified candidate assembles roller, ring and wire race bearings, ranging in diameter from eight (8) to seventy (70) inches, using drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

·  Study blueprints, specifications and bills of material.
·  Locate and inspect proper inner and outer ring for readiness to assemble.
·  Gather all component parts, such as balls or wires, spacers, seal, etc.
·  Lifts work piece(s) into table.
·  Mark filler plug position and soft spots.
·  Relieve plug and any grease holes.
·  Clean inner and outer parts thoroughly to remove oil and debris.
·  Operate proper tools, such as hammers, grinder, punches, seal drivers, etc to install components.
·  Manually rotate bearing to check operation free from binds or other deficiencies.
·  Install grease fittings, lubricate bearing and install tapered pin into lock.
·  Check assembled part for dimensional conformance to specifications.
·  Occasionally disassemble bearings for modification, or repair.
·  Report any deficiencies to shift supervisor as found.
·  Accurately complete final assembly production card and final inspection report.
·  Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
·  Follow all company rules.

Your profile

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 4 (four) to 6 (six) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
