Your responsibilities

thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our world class team in Tamarac, FL .

Essential duties and responsibilities:

·  Answers and professionally responds to phone calls and e-mails as required
·  Maintain and orders office supplies as needed
·  Efficiently and effectively process payment requests when required
·  Analyzes data and prepares corporate reports
·  Processes incoming and outgoing mail timely and accurately
·  Incoming Mail – Provides date/time stamping and distributes or files as necessary
·  Outgoing Mail – Prepares packages for overnight delivery as well as large quantity mailings for special projects
·  Additional responsibilities as assigned including various administrative duties (expense reporting & travel arrangements, etc.)
·  Maintains State specific new employee, claim and property lease logs
·  Coordinate payment of property lease/rent payments
·  Receives, reviews, codes, prepares and reports all new accident reports to the required Third Party Administrator (TPA)/Entity
·  Obtains additional information and required forms from the local branch to provide to the TPA
·  Assists in responding to subpoenas for records
·  Preparation of correspondence to employees as required
·  Creates and maintains paper and electronic claim files
·  Maintain Excel Spreadsheet logs of all accidents
·  Updates the OSHA Log and Accident Reporting Database Systems
·  Performs other duties as may be assigned

Your profile

·  High School Diploma, some college desired
·  Previous experience in a related position or responsibilities ideal
·  Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and other business management systems
·  Managing Processes, Organization, Problem Solving
·  Detail oriented and organized
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, high capacity
·  Friendly, polite, personable
·  Administrative writing skills, Excellent typing, verbal and written communication skills.
·  Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
·  Enjoys change and process improvement ideal
·  Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity
·  Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
·  Ability to lead and work collaboratively.
·  Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
