Position: Implementation Analyst – Professional Services, ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Compliance (OITC)
Location: London, Docklands – United Kingdom
Role Summary:
The Professional Services team provides software implementation, consulting and training services to external clients from a variety of industry sectors, often multinational corporations based in the UK and across EMEA.
Services range from relatively short, focused assignments through to large-scale, long-term engagements, across all stages of the complete project lifecycle – working closely with colleagues from all other areas of the Tax & Accounting / ONESOURCE business, including Product Management, Development, Hosting, Client Services Management (CSM), Solutions Consulting (Pre-Sales), Sales, Support and our (third-party) Certified Implementation Partners (CIPs).
We are currently seeking a self-motivated Implementation Analyst with an interest in / aptitude for tax & technology to join the team in support of its delivery of OITC software solutions.
This role is primarily office-based though there will be some degree of travel to client sites required.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Client Service & Project Management
Support the Professional Services team in its delivery of OITC software implementation projects:
· Liaise with clients' Tax / IT teams in understanding requirements – e.g. indirect tax processes, etc.
· Configure clients' OITC software – design, build, test, etc.
· Assist in preparing and delivering client end user training – including supporting materials, etc.
· Support clients during roll-out & project closure – e.g. User Acceptance Testing, handover to CSM / Support, etc.
Assist in completion of task-level project deliverables – including:
· Project plans / timelines & requirements / data gathering
· Design documentation – e.g. functional specifications, etc.
· OITC software configuration & testing
· Client end user training & supporting materials (remote / ‘face-to-face'; slides / workbooks, etc.)
· Issue resolution – defects, changes, etc.
· Project status updates / reports
Business Development & Product / Process Improvement
· Support the wider OITC teams in ongoing development of the product / our services:
· Provide client / implementer feedback – e.g. enhancements, bugs, etc.
· Engage with / support other key Tax & Accounting / ONESOURCE teams and partner organisations
· Assist with (pre-)sales activities – e.g. software demonstrations, assessing / scoping new prospects, etc.
Key Relationships:
The Implementation Analyst will report to the Implementation Manager, directly supporting all members of the OITC implementation team and working alongside the wider ONESOURCE Indirect Tax teams.

Desirable Skill and Experience:
· Exposure to accounting / tax
· Client facing experience
· Software knowledge / experience (configuration, programming, database administration, etc.)
Education / Certifications:
· University / undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
· A-Levels (or equivalent)
Previous work experience in tax / technology is not required (full product & implementation training shall be provided, alongside support for study towards a professional tax qualification – e.g. ATT) – however an interest in accounting / tax and technology is essential.
