DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

PURPOSE:      To facilitate the operation of the quality assurance and blending departments by ensuring adequate maintenance and testing supplies, documentation.  To assist in maintaining compliance with TCCC Quality Systems standards.  Assist and provide support to Quality Assurance Management in the tracking, dissemination, reporting and storage of data on Quality Assurance Department activities.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   SHIFT FLEXIBILITY REQUIRED

·  Review, update, document change, and train on new and modifying procedures regularly and ensure that training is documented appropriately
·  Document new process and procedures, along with associated Work Aids and ensures documentation is provided to relevant parties and included in training plans
·  Maintain identified inventory levels of all quality assurance testing supplies
·  Utilizing EtQ, assist with the update of plant documentation sets
·  Utilize PC MS / Lotus Notes Office tools, including e-mail, in communicating and report generation
·  Utilize SAP tools to process material receipts and generate purchase requests, including monthly reporting
·  Utilize PMC tools to update maintenance work order status and generate reports
·  Properly store all Quality Assurance records, according to TCCC record retention requirements
·  Collect data and report on Quality Assurance Key Business Indicators (Consumer Complaints, Organic & Allergan verifications)
·  Participation in projects as assigned including but not limited to traceability, monthly GMP audits/risk assessments, and external audits (ISO, QAI, BK, AIB)
·  Comply with all Company and Regulatory requirements
·  Read, understand, and comply with MSDS sheets.  Ensure all inbound chemicals have MSDS sheets.
·  Routinely update department metrics and measurement including departmental reports, spineboards, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·    CCNA Forklift license or ability to obtain if required
·  Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
·  High School diploma or GED.
·  Computer skills, including SAP, Lotus Notes, and MSOffice
·  Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot production related problems, and recognize material and product defects.
·  Ability to see, hear machine operations sounds to detect jams, changes in speed and other routine mechanical running conditions.
·  Possess physical ability to access all areas of a multi-level production facility, with heights to 40 feet, and ability to work in confined spaces.
·  Must be able to bend, reach and lift items up to 50 pounds a distance of 10 feet or more.
·  Able to work on different shifts, extended shift hours and/or overtime as required by management.
·  Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

JOB LOCATION AND WORK CONDITIONS:   Work is performed in high-speed bottling and production environment.  Work requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise level, working around moving equipment, tanks, heights, wet conditions, fumes, vibrations, dust, etc. 

EQUIPMENT:   Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toed shoes and hearing protection. Forklift, handcart, calculator, plant telephone systems and computer hardware / software.   

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·   Travel to other facilities
·  Order supplies and chemicals
·  Develop training presentations.
·  Operate FAX machine.
·  Operate copier machine.
·  Other duties as assigned
