Position Overview:

The Blue Sky Activation Team Lead (BAT) will assist the Field Marketing Manager to manage the Colorado territory, with a focus on the Metro Denver market to execute field marketing activity with the Blue Sky Food Truck through in-store demo activity, guerilla sampling, working events and product deliveries. The main responsibilities of this role are to increase awareness of the brand through constant consumer interaction and sampling, assist in event execution while maintaining strong relationships on behalf of the brand. This role will also involve assisting the FMM with coordinating team calendars, collecting photos and information for post-activity recaps, as well as co-management of brand ambassadors.  The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented, hands-on individual who can quickly establish relationships and manage a growing field team.  They will be rooted in real, have a passion for the great outdoors, love to drive and be a strategic problem solver with a must win attitude.

·  Actively generate trial & brand awareness of Blue Sky through use of the Blue Sky Food Truck by guerilla sampling, sampling at events, in-store demos, account seeding and influencer seeding
·  Work on all aspects of the Food Truck including but not limited to driving, cleaning, maintenance scheduling, finding opportunities to activate.
·  Assist the FMM to manage and motivate a group of ambassadors and interns in assigned territory
·  Develop strong rapport with field staff and management through consistent and professional communication
·  Achieve established success metrics outlined by the program goals to deliver execution with excellence
·  Maintain reporting inclusive of the following: scheduling, activity recaps, execution insights, key learnings and best practices, ambassador performance, coaching and follow up
·  Manage product inventory and resources to achieve established goals
·  Keep abreast and report on products, category, innovation, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
·  Partner with sales on developing local initiatives and product launches with distributors
·  Identify opportunities to improve consumer experience both in store and in market
·  Deliver execution with excellence
·  Bring the essence of Blue Sky to life through their actions and activations on a daily basis
·  Other related duties as assigned

·  Position Requirements

·  1-3 years’ experience in field marketing, preferably in the beverage industry
·  1+ year(s) of management experience
·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business, Marketing or Communications
·  Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·  Position includes daily extended driving of large Food Truck on a daily basis
·  Experience in promotional marketing or event execution
·  Willingness to work a flexible schedule, typical work week varies from week to week and includes early mornings, nights and most weekends
·  Must live in the Denver market - strong geographic knowledge of the market is a must; familiarity with greater region a plus
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with managers and customers
·  Excellent at managing time, priorities and expenses
·  Able to work independently while being a team player
·  A clean driving record
·  Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
·  Ability to drive company vehicle for up to 4 hours at a time
·  Flexibility to travel as needed
