Billing Analyst - 22 months assignment -
based in Drogheda

Position Overview

As Billing Analyst you will focus on processing billing transactions for over 30 Finished Goods models across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.

In this role you will report to the Treasury, Finished Goods and Billing Team Lead and work closely with Global Finance Operations process teams, Legal Entity Controllers, Procure-to-Pay Operations teams, Controls & Compliance, Business Unit teams, Commercial Product Supply teams, SAP Delivery team, Indirect Tax team and internal and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

·  Invoice processing in SAP, scanning of documents (as required), based on approved invoice requests/notification of finished goods shipments from co-packers/toll-fillers and sending invoices to customers.
·  Ensure that timely and accurate documentation is issued to facilitate export of goods outside the EU.
·  Preparation of Purchase Orders to co-packers.
·  Support Accounts Receivable Analysts in follow up with customers on open receivables.
·  Follow up on queries from customers and co-packers/toll-fillers.
·  Work with co-packers/toll-fillers to receive information on a timely basis and ensure revenue cut-off procedures are met at month end.
·  Participate in month end activities across the team and lead volume and profit reallocations.
·  Submission of SAP MDM requests relating to Foods Goods & Services customers (new and changes to existing).
·  Internal and external audit requests.
·  Other ad-hoc reporting requirements.

What you need to be successful

·  Minimum of 2, ideally 3 years of experience in Finance Operations.
·  Business Degree or similar third level qualification.
·  Accounting Technician from a recognised Accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, etc.) or part-qualified Accountant actively pursuing a qualification.
·  Intermediate MS Excel skills and experience with SAP.
·  Familiarity with Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement principles and desire to redesign processes/systems to create efficiencies.
·  Proven ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
