The Big Smoke Events is a newly launched events company currently specialising in Scavenger Hunts around London! Our London based scavenger hunt is a race against the clock where teams of 5 or more work together to complete a series of challenges. Teams will have to answer questions, take videos and photos, and track down items as they race to be the first team back to base. The team which completes the most challenges in the time provided will be crowned the winners! We run events for hen dos, birthdays and also corporate team building days (our clients already include the likes of Michael Page, InStyle Magazine, Willis Insurance… and many others). We are growing quickly and need a strong sales intern to help expand and target our corporate portfolio.
Although this is initially an internship opportunity, we’re ideally looking to make this position full time come the new year, so we see this as a great chance to learn a phenomenal amount, get to know the team and make the role your own.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
We are looking for a marketing and sales intern to help sell and market our London Scavenger Hunts. You’ll be helping out with or be responsible for some of the following; – Sales – targeting new clients and selling our Scavenger Hunts (and other events as we start to expand our offering) – Helping plan and run events – Help with marketing and promo activities, act as a brand ambassador for The Big Smoke Events – Help with development of new products

We expect the next few months to be an incredibly exciting and busy time for The Big Smoke, so we’re looking for someone who; – Has strong interpersonal skills – is a good communicator with a positive & friendly attitude – Strong written and verbal communication skills – Works well under pressure, can think on their feet and be proactive about tackling tasks and managing their time – Is passionate about events – Has the ability and ambition to tackle unfamiliar tasks and learn quickly – Who brings diligence, enthusiasm and commitment to whatever they do
