The Thales Australia Maritime business offers repair, maintenance and Asset Management / in-service support capabilities for commercial and naval ships in Australia. Asset Management Services, a section within Maritime provides a range of asset management, in service support and consultancy services and is on an exciting journey with a number of business opportunities on the horizon.

About the Role

As part of expanding team, you will join our Maritime operations as you utilise your background to play a key role in supporting a variety of projects. With a broad focus, you will get the opportunity to provide customer focused engineering and asset management services that support our supply chain function and overall customer requirements. As part of a small team, you will operate autonomously in providing specialist advice as you deliver solutions that will significantly contribute to the ongoing success of our Maritime operations and Thales Australia in general.

Skills and Experience

· Relevant tertiary qualification; engineering, technical trade, logistics
· Previous experience with an engineering or technically focused work environment (plant/asset management, engineering, reliability, logistics)
· Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups
· Well-developed computer skills, especially in MS Office
· Proven ability to deliver customer solutions and meet business objectives
· Ability to self-manage and work autonomously within a challenging organisation
· Although not essential, those with demonstrated experience in a similar ILS/LSA or Defence industry role will be viewed favourably

Special Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance and access information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
