We are currently looking for a Human Resources Service Center Representative to join the Thales USA team in Arlington, VA .

The Human Resources Services Center Representative will provide Tier I support to employees, HR Business Partners, managers and vendors with Human Resources needs, including but not limited to, benefits, payroll, company policy, performance management, and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing all aspects of the HRIS database including gathering the appropriate level of information to correctly input new starter, employee movement and leaver transactions according to SLA's.
· Ensuring integrity and quality of the data in the HRIS and Payroll databases as well as in the Case Management System, Neocase.
· Receive incoming calls routed to 1 st Point providing high standards of customer service.
· Providing support on human resource policy and practice, with a strong focus on employment arrangements and case management within agreed response times/service level agreements.
· Educates customers of HR Services available to them and encourages self-service tools such as the HR Portal and other systems when appropriate. Escalates non-routine matters to appropriate individuals.
· Contributing and supporting the development of 1st Point HR knowledge material, including information articles, process guides, reference tools and service process workflow diagrams.
· Maintains knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures.

Supports Thales' HR department with special projects, mass communications, and other duties

as needed and assigned.

· Helping to drive business efficiencies by providing customer service to employees and HR transactional support.
· Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of service.
· Confidentiality of sensitive information

Required Skills and Experience:


Education/Training/Work Experience

· Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well and collaborate in team environment.
· Demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle complex and demanding situations tactfully when dealing with customers and assist other team members with problem resolutions. Highly organized with ability to prioritize duties during periods of high volume and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to work within a team and take initiative on research and problem solving.
· Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
· Adaptable to changing business practices
· Understanding of a Shared Service function and Customer Service principles
· Logical and organized
· Proficient computer skills
· Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills.

Occasional travel may be required.

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
· Two or more years of work experience, preferably in a call center or human resources environment, or the equivalent in related work experience.
· Prior experience with Workday a plus
· Call Center Experience a plus

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

Type Equipment/Software Used:

SAP Finance, MS Word, Excel (ideally VBA) and PowerPoint

Work Environment/Physical Demands

General office environment; some stress may occur. This position will travel to other facilities to support collaborative business activities international or within the US.
