Assistant Cell Manager

Singapore - East - Changi

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Manage the Technicians for Power Conversion System Line
· Drive production On-time delivery, Cycle time and Touch time KPIs

· Ensure the technicians follow the Production Best Practices

· Supports Product Manager to improve First Pass Yield in production

· Participate in Customer and Regulatory Audits
· Prepare and present reports on production to Management on a regular basis
· Responsible for production time studies, Kaizen and driving Lean initiatives
· Set up new Cell during new product introduction (NPI)
· Optimize resource allocation between NPI and daily production
· Perform Capacity Analysis for Labour and Equipments
· Interface with Supply Chain on weekly production planning and drive recovery plans during late delivery
· Responsible for employees' training plan, hiring and appraisal

Requirements:

· Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
· 3 to 4 years of experience working in a similar role, especially in Aerospace industry will be advantageous

· Possess manufacturing process knowledge (eg. SPC, Lean, Kaizen, VSM, OEE)
· Proven track record of driving process improvements and competitiveness
· Team player who can influence and lead other departments

· Must be able to work with all levels of staff
· Certifications on Lean will be advantageous
· May be required to be travel overseas occasionally
