About the role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Analyst Programmer to join our Business Support Team within our Enterprise Services. You will undertake a leading role in the development of interfaces utilising Infor ION, IBM Datastage, K2 solutions, and existing custom interfaces.

As a strong communicator, you will collaborate with Thales employees to assist in defining system requirements, develop technical specifications, build, test, and deploy solutions to meet agreed business requirements and will also provide on-going support for deployed solutions.

With new and exciting projects in the pipeline and substantial growth anticipated, this is an opportunity not to be overlooked.

Key responsibilities:

· Deliver incident, problem and service improvement in accordance to the agreed Service Level Agreements with internal customers
· Maintaining continuity of service and operational support for business applications and interfaces
· Monitor and manage the interfaces and associated log files between assigned business applications and other major Business Systems
· Identify root causes of data inconsistency issues as part of problem management
· To analyse, develop, document and support custom workflows and forms solutions in ION, and K2 technologies
· Diagnose and resolve coding or logic issues in existing interfaces
· Deliver software solutions according to documented technical specifications within schedule constraints
· Provide technical support to Business Analysts and as required
· Evaluate potential solutions and make appropriate recommendations
· Deliver accurate and timely progress updates on all deliverables
· Recommend and contribute to process improvements
· Follow the established change management process

Skills and experience:

· Strong programming skills in C, C# or Java
· Good knowledge of SQL, XML or XSLT
· Tertiary qualification within IT or similar
· Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement at all levels
· Experience in building B2B interfaces and willingness to learn numerous ERP systems would be high advantageous

Special requirements:

You must be able to obtain an Australian Security Clearance and meet the requirements set out by ITARS.
