Job description

Role Title: Project Management Officer

Business: Commercial Banking

Role Purpose / Description

The Project Management Officer (PMO) will act as the liaison among the business teams, engineering teams, testing team, release teams and service delivery teams. He/she will manage the entire process throughout project life cycle, including but not limited to initiation, design, construction, execution and implementation.

• He/she will work closely with the development teams to ensure the IT project is delivered on schedule and budget, and meets the business requirements in acceptable quality.

• He/she will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of delivering software development projects to clients, including:

• Tracking statuses of project deliverables and milestones

• Risk and issue monitoring and co-ordination

• Coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting

• Co-ordination of project governance arrangements

• Lead and develop a team of PMO professionals ensuring capabilities are upskilled

• Manage the collection, collation and processing of project information from stakeholders

• Monitor and report on budgets and expenditure

• Assist with the implementation of project standards across projects

• Managing and updating project documentation, process documents and information sources

• Demonstrated business knowledge, such as experience leading a Profit and Loss (P&L) unit

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• Be a project management officer for more than 3 years and lead project management office tasks.

• Strong communication skill and fluent in English, CET6 is required.

• Strong presentation and summarization skill in terms of project management reports, including finance, cost, progress, RAID etc.

• Positive 'can do' attitude and self-motivated

• Experience or certification in Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is preferred.
