Group Purchases Services is looking for a Family Purchasing Intellectual Electronics Services
(M/F)
Based at Vélizy-Villacoublay (78) - France


WHO ARE YOU

You already have experience in purchasing intellectual material and you understand the different contractual matters (Subcontracting with result driven commitments, global packages with result driven commitments);
You are also skilled in setting up service centres with a work unit catalogue, including the implementation of mature purchasing strategy associated with an engineering plan of transformation.

You have a good understanding of the electronic engineering world and project management. You enjoy working with stakeholder in advance in order to develop the subcontracting of complex elements in ‘Build to Specification'.

You are mastered within the field of purchasing levers, tools of value analysis, the concept cost objective, contractual negotiations and the management of the supplier in an international context.

Dynamism, organisation and autonomy are among your main qualities.
You are diplomatic and you have the ability to listen to others.
You are convincing, able to summarise and transform information.
You have a good level of spoken and written English and basic french necessary.

Travelling is to be expected in France and abroad.

WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER     
Within the Engineering Services purchasing department of Thales Group, you will manage a purchasing budget for the Electronical Engineering Family. You are ready to take on competitive challenges within the Group in assisting the purchasing and engineering transformation.

Your missions will be the following:

*    Work in collaboration with prescribers in order to secure bids and predict needs within Electrical Engineering. Propose the best offer (conditions, contract…) of the online market with the Family Purchasing Strategy and the challenges of the Group.
*         Participate in the defining of the family strategy (analyse needs, sourcing)
*         Organisation and management of consultations, negotiate with suppliers and develop the contract if necessary
*         Identify risks and opportunities related to the supplier and the market,
*         Ensure the subcontracting follow-up in collaboration with the prescriber,
*         Manage the relationship with suppliers and implement progress objectives,
*         Optimise the overall cost of ownership.
