About the Business

The Thales Australia Maritime business offers repair, maintenance and Asset Management / in-service support capabilities for commercial and naval ships in Australia. Asset Management Services, a section within Maritime, provides a range of through Life Support Services in support of the Australian Huon Class Minehunter ships, Armidale Class Patrol Boats and other specialised consultancy services. With an expanding portfolio of projects on the horizon and the opportunity to be part of a diverse business, our Asset Management Services team has the variety to challenge you.

Expressions of Interest

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from skilled professionals to be part of our expanding Integrated Logistics Support team. You will get the opportunity to utilise your background and play a key role in supporting a variety of projects as you provide customer focused engineering and asset management services that support our customer requirements.

You will get involved in everything from reliability predictions and spares modelling, to obsolescence management and maintenance planning. Our team are actively involved in planning and analysis activities that aim to maximise asset availability and operational performance within our customers design constraints, matched against optimising the total cost of ownership.

· Mechanical
· Electrical
· Logistics Support Analysis
· Reliability and Maintainability
· Maintenance Support Planning (actively involved in scheduling, spares and tasking)
· Practitioner level Product Configuration and Support Management.
· Support System Development (supply, maintenance, configuration, technical data and engineering)

Key Skills and Experience

As someone with a relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, technical trade), previous experience within an engineering or technically focused work environment and an overall aptitude for complex projects, you will demonstrate previous success in achieving customer focused solutions within an environment focused on results.
Those will relevant Acquisition Support or Defence industry experience will be viewed favourably.

Special Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance and to access information covered by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
