We currently have a Permanent Integration and Test Technician vacancy within the manufacturing function in Cheadle. The role will require you to carry out testing and fault diagnosis of Electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with issued test specifications ensuring quality products are delivered to our customer. This would suit either someone with experience in a production test environment working on highly complex electronic assemblies or someone with a base knowledge or testing and fault diagnosis that is keen to develop and go through additional training.

Key duties:

· Carry out testing of Electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with issued test specifications.
· Carry out fault diagnosis to component level on PCA's (conventional and surface-mount technology) and Electro-mechanical assemblies when they fail to meet the requirements of their test specifications.
· Provide accurate quality records for all equipment tested.
· Test may be either by use of manual test boxes or Automatic Test Equipment.

Skills and experience required:

· City and Guilds, HNC or HND or equivalent in electronics or a related discipline is desirable, however experience only will also be considered.
· Good interpersonal skills are required.
· PC literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Capable of interpreting circuit diagrams and engineering drawings.
