The Role:

The Supply Chain Automation team develops technology to enhance all aspects of Tesla’s supply chain. You will own the user experience of our products, designing human-centric products that enhance human performance. You will work closely with software engineers, logisticians, planners, and other stakeholders to develop functional and delightful products. This role presents a unique opportunity to apply design thinking and achieve outsized returns.

Responsibilities:

·  You will bring a human-centric design philosophy to an automation team, driving user research to understand customer needs.
·  You will enable rapid iteration by building prototypes with tools like Invision.
·  You will create and maintain a style guide of patterns, animations, and color pallets to inform all product development.
·  You will design experiences across all types of technology: web, mobile, augmented reality, and more.
·  You love to work fast, and to create useful things.

Desired profile

Requirements:

·  Experience practicing and teaching design thinking.
·  Background withtools such as sketch, zeplin, photoshop, etc.
·  Open-minded about product development, and always willing to iterate.
·  Passionate about technology
·  Positive and optimistic attitude
·  Attention to detail
