Required skills

-2+ years' experience on hands-on chemical analysis under fast-moving industrial environment
-Expertise in operation and maintenance of analysis instruments such as GC (gas chromatography) and/or ICP (inductively coupled plasma).
-Experience working with hazardous chemicals
-Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
-Good communication skills
-Chemistry, or chemistry-related AS or BS.

Position descriptions

->60% of time hands-on tasks including sample preparation, analysis instrument operation and maintenance.
-Responsible for maintaining, and operating various analytical instrumentation including GC and ICP.
-Prepare chemical solutions for use in processing samples, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.
-Document sample preparation process and analysis results in an organized and timely manner.
-Help develop new SOP for challenging sample analysis.
-Report any issues related to the process and help find the solution.

Desired skills (not required)

-Familiar with various analysis instruments such as SEM, XRD, XRF, TGA, Raman, FTIR, etc.
-Experience working with air-sensitive materials and/or battery materials
-Mechanical aptitude
-Familiar with MATLAB, Python, and/or similar data analysis tool
