Role:

The Business Systems Operations Analyst will support and advise users on how to configure and implement the business systems that run Tesla’s manufacturing operations. Support activities could include troubleshooting various systems issues, creating SOPs, and implementing tactical support of changes.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate andcollaborate with customerswhile balancing competing demands from various departments. A key factor for success will be to demonstrate the ability to participate cross-functionally to execute a common goal.

Responsibilities:

·  Become a subject matter expert on the existing business systems that run the factory in order to guide the various operations teams on their applications
·  Evaluate requests and manage systems changes through post-implementation support
·  Work with cross-functional teams to problem solve with available tools
·  Troubleshoot issues on the production floor
·  Feedback system issues and improvements to the development team in support of operational efficiency
·  Systematically configure production lines and processes for multiple departments
·  Participate in new product meetings/trials in order to dynamically support the introduction of new products

Desired profile

Requirements:

·  Show competency in learning new software and functionality for both custom and out of the box functionality
·  Must be operationally focused – get the job done
·  Demonstrated experience working with both functional and technical teams
·  Be able to communicate effectively (written and oral) to both technical and functional resources
·  Experience troubleshooting basic network and/or software problems
·  Ability to troubleshoot issues on the manufacturing floor in high pressure scenarios
·  Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
·  Be able to resolve issues quickly and precisely to completion and prioritize multiple tasks
·  Available for on call support as needed
·  Knowledge of technical architectures, data integration, and software development lifecycle a plus
·  BA/BS diploma and 2+ years working in a production environment
·  Able to work in a fast-paced setting and navigate through an ambiguous work environment
