Conceptual Process Engineer

About the Job

You will provide support to Development Planning studies across a range of onshore/offshore oil and gas projects and liaise with subject matter experts across a wide range of disciplines.

The Sr. Development Planning Specialist job responsibilities include:

· 
Execute study activities under the supervision of the Study/Project Lead or Manager

· 
Scribe workshops

· 
Develop competency in using in-house software

· 
Prepare study deliverables such as technical reports, process schematics and graphical results

· 
Research public domain information

The Sr. Development Planning Specialist will:

· 
Be a self-starter with a “can-do” attitude.

Actively pursue opportunities to learn about unfamiliar disciplines and technologies.

Demonstrate commitment to quality of personal work processes and products

Provide input to continuous improvement of work processes and products.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

· 
Holds an engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or Natural Gas Engineering, other engineering disciplines would be considered based on relevant experience.

· 
Minimum 3-5 years of process engineering or facilities engineering experience within the oil and gas industry working in a capital project and/or in operations environment

· 
Strong technical knowledge of offshore and onshore oil & gas production systems.

· 
Basic knowledge of Hydrogen, CCUS experience would be a plus

· 
Basic understanding of project economics and cost estimating

· 
Understanding of conceptual engineering, process modeling experience will be a plus

· 
Previous experience with AACE class 4/5 estimating tools will be a plus

· 
Competency with Excel and Excel-based tools

· 
Familiarity with business intelligence tools, PowerBI, SQL DB, AI/ML algorithms is a plus

· 
Strong technical writing skills

· 
Effective time-management skills

· 
Strong problem-solving skills
