JOB PURPOSE:

Inspection/ Expediting Coordination, Field Inspection and Expediting.

REPORTING LINES AND INTERACTIONS:

Hierarchically reports to: Manager - QCS

Operationally reports to: Manager – QCS, Project Procurement Manager

Key interactions (internally, externally):

Internally: Inspector/Expeditor, Discipline Engineer, Buyer, Project Management Team

Externally: Agency Inspector/Expeditor, Vendor/Supplier, Client

TYPICAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have:

·  Any technical Diploma or Degree.
·  Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Nice to have:

·  Professional certificate / qualification – NDE, welding inspection, painting inspection.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

QCS Coordinator is in charge to supervise Project QCS activities for the POs assigned, coordinating the involved Expeditors and Inspectors.

In particular, the QCS Coordinator will:

·  Organize HOM/ PIM, take part of HOM/PIM with the Supplier, as necessary.
·  Coordinate inspection/expediting activities with Inspector/Expeditor, Vendors and Client.
·  Collect, review and analyze PIM, expediting report, inspection report, inspection release note and distributing within the Project.
·  Ensure all necessary documentation to perform QCS activities are available.
·  In case of detected criticalities, arrange specific meetings with the Suppliers and all involved parties finalizing all necessary recovery actions.
·  Keep updated the IT-tools.
·  Prepare required reports by the Project.
·  Field/desk expediting: verify and comment Supplier's Overall Fabrication Schedule; monitor Supplier/Sub-supplier activities to assess overall supply progress; highlight any potential critical paths/events that might cause a shifting of delivery date, requesting the Supplier to implement adequate corrective actions, ensuring the necessary follow up actions settled.
·  Field inspection: monitor and ensure proper supply execution until fulfillment of contractual delivery date; supervise Supplier's quality control activities; with all tests, as per approved FQCP, according to the codes and specifications applicable to the Supply; review all necessary documentation and certificates; originate NCR whenever the inspected materials do not meet the Project requirements; verify and sign the MDRB.
