Essential Responsibilities

1.1 Function-related Tasks & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for this function are:
• Identify the GT components according to the instructions
• Perform assessment on various gas turbine components received for inspection by written procedure, documents, drawings, specifications, and established practices
• Perform inspections at interim and final inspections as required and in accordance with the applicable specifications
• Take measurements on gas turbine components
• Weighting of blades on the momentum balance within the valid specifications
• Create computation schemes (Blade Distribution List)
• Performs computer aided air-, and water flow tests on gas turbine components
• Reviews job paperwork through entire reconditioning process to ensure completeness and conformity
• Documentation and backup of individual production orders for diagnosis
• Take pictures for customer reports
Additional function-specific tasks are:
• Utilizes precision measuring equipment as required for incoming inspection
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as
• micrometers and calipers
• Reporting of technical deviations with the Non-Conformance Reporting System (NCR)
• Interfaces with engineering and order execution regarding recommendation for work instruction and repair router improvements
• Maintain equipment and tools per the required preventive maintenance schedule
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Operates small crane to move equipment parts
• Other duties as assigned
1.2 General Tasks & Responsibilities
• Acting according to the Environmental Health and Safety regulations
• Reporting to the supervisor regularly and specifically in case of exceptional or EHS incidents
• Conducting all business activities according to GE’s Blue Print
• Working according to processes and rules defined in the Management System
• Contributing to the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of processes
• Taking responsibility for own career and personal development, commitment to achieve set objectives
1.3 Authorization
• Independently carry out all assigned operator work during the reconditioning process
• Signatory authority according to relevant regulations
• The right to have access to all information, IT systems and applications required to perform this function according to relevant regulations
Qualifications/Requirements

2.1 Education, Training, Qualifications
E: Technician or 3-5 years technical school education in industrial engineering
E: Vietnamese language
D: English language (efficiently reading English specifications and Work Instruction)

2.2 Experience and Work-Related Skills
E: Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in performing inspections or quality reporting or in manufacturing
E: Proficient at reading and understanding technical drawings, industrial specifications and work
instructions
E: Proficient at data recording and evaluation
E: Strong knowledge of common IT-tools and systems
D: Familiarity of gas turbine equipment (form, fit, function)
D: Experience in quality systems (f.e. ISO 9001, or other quality programs), 5S, LEAN
D: Basic knowledge of non destructive testing
D: Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
D: Experience of process development / production implementation
