DEPARTMENT:
Reports to the Manager/Supervisor, in the Global Subsea Drilling Organization in Houston, Dunfermline or Kuala Lumpur.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for maintenance of schedules, managing change requests, and delivering project metrics.
• Receives functional guidance and leadership from the Lead Project Scheduler
• Create and maintain Quotation, Forecast, and Backlog schedules
• Work with the Project Manager(s), Commercial Department, the Lead Project Scheduler, Product Planner, Product and Service Value Streams, and Global Planning System to effectively set-up project schedule(s) in Primavera up to and including Baseline and release of the project schedule inclusive of all products and services (engineering, equipment, tooling, service personnel) responsible to maintain project schedule until project close-out.
• Managing change requests through the life of a project -this will entail scenario (what-if) planning, advising impact of change, and finalizing the change agreed to by the Customer.
• Attend/Support commercial meetings, project meetings, S&OP process, and deliver project metrics.
MAIN TASKS:
• Build and maintain project schedules for quoted, forecast, and backlog projects
• Organize and facilitate baseline reviews for all backlog schedules, including closure of any scheduling actions as an outcome.
• Support the maintenance and development of P6 templates in conjunction with the value streams and GPS team.
• Cover and support the Lead Project Scheduler on an as required basis.
• Effectively manage and control Quote schedule revisions/options while still considering capacity constraints.
• Work to and enforce all GWIs and LWIs while incorporating scheduling best practices to other functional areas.
• Facilitate the handover of project schedules to the Project Management teams.
• Maintain integrity of P6 project schedules to facilitate global automation efforts, including but not limited to codes, roles, resources, durations, and calendars.
• Exercise Continuous Improvement to develop new processes that improve on TechnipFMC's existing standards for project scheduling.
• Feed improvement suggestions back to GPS Board and its members, as well as serve on GPS Committees where needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience utilizing Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Technical background is a plus.
• APICs or PMI preferred.
• Demonstrate a mature understanding of project scheduling techniques and standards.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to define deadlines and manage priorities is critical.
• Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders in other countries in different time zones.
• Understand the impact to the overall organization.
• Communicate ideas and concepts to an audience who is unfamiliar with the content.
• Accountable to completing own assigned tasks and meet own targets which have progressive impact.
• Interacts with departmental staff, business unit managers, and project management.
• Thorough communications skills are required.
• Broad understanding of Critical Path Method.
• Good understanding of business, MRP systems (SAP), and processes.
• Thorough understanding of LEAN manufacturing and processes preferred.
• The ability to understand and demonstrate Product Knowledge - solid practical understanding of Engineering BOM's and the Engineering Execution Process (EEP).

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced office atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change. Frequent interaction with Supply Chain (inclusive procurement and production), Project Management and Engineering. Frequent engagement with contacts around the globe. Able to participate and collaborate with multiple time zones.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent meetings, sitting for long periods of time, and operating a computer.
