Position Overview

This position will provide project planning and scheduling support to projects within Subsea North America (NAM) group. The candidate will be detail oriented, but able to understand projects from a top level. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to engage in conversations with multiple stakeholders to gather information to support the schedule will be required. This position will rely heavily on the ability to read and understand requirements from contracts as well as internal requirements for project management.

Responsibilities may include:
Ā·  Facilitates communications between key support functions within the department.
Ā·  Ensures cooperation and interaction across diverse stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
Ā·  No direct reports. Will be required to engage with multiple levels of stakeholders throughout the organization and have potential client interaction as well.
Ā·  Conducts and/or participates in schedule audits and schedule reviews to ensure schedule accuracy and validity requirements are met.
Ā·  Facilitates communications between cross-company and cross-functional teams to ensure scheduling conflicts are identified early and solutions accurately incorporated into schedules and processes.
Ā·  Performs Project Planning and implements project controls across specified work package groups and projects.
Ā·  Supports the development, review and Contract requirements for Baseline Schedule and assists in establishing criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure (WBS) and others)
Ā·  Assists with the development and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules
Ā·  Develops lists of design, procurement, construction and post construction activities based on:
Ā·  review of design documents,
Ā·  examination of site conditions
Ā·  discussions with stakeholders, design consultants and contractors
Ā·  Working with the project team identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items
Ā·  Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams
Ā·  Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences
Ā·  Assesses or validate actual progress
Ā·  Monitors schedule changes and trends
Ā·  Suggests corrective actions and/or develops recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur
Ā·  Implements project controls on the project schedule
Ā·  Incorporates updates in the project schedule based on input from the organization
Ā·  Reviews all contractual documentation regarding project planning and project controls

Position Qualifications

Basic/required:
Ā·  Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
Ā·  Bachelor's Degree Required in Business, Engineering, Procurement, Operations or related field or relevant job experience. Technical background a plus.
Ā·  4+ years in Subsea Oil and Gas industry preferred
Ā·  Ability to coordinate & organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required
Ā·  Ability to work in a team environment using effective communication
Ā·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ā·  Capacity to work on schedules in live meetings with schedule projected for team engagement
Ā·  Strong analytical and problemā€solving skills
Ā·  Must have strong computer skills and strong skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Ā·  Must have a strategic understanding of Project Planning and MRP
Ā·  Contractual review experience preferred
Ā·  Professional individual capable of interfacing with clients and speak on behalf of TechnipFMC
Ā·  Willingness to develop an understanding of the communication process and ensures effectiveness (written, verbal and listening) across functional and managerial boundaries.
Ā·  Experience with project negotiations, multi-site interfaces, and commercial management of contracts, supplier quality systems, and implementation of project management strategies.
Ā·  Working knowledge of Primavera 6 preferred
Work Environment

Office environment with frequent trips to the shop and to other offices in the plant. Potential to travel to client offices to participate in project meetings. Some exposure to possible shop hazards including high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.
