PROJECT ENGINEER

Your responsibilities

• Work independently following the guidelines provided by the project leader/manager.
• Supporting the Project Manager on larger project and executing smalll projects alone.
• Develop and calculate complex projects in his/her field.
• Generate specifications, make investment estimates and prepare price comparisons, orensure these tasks are carried out.
• Generate an activity plan and the documentation to be supplied, based on thespecifications, and monitors these.
• Discuss planning with the project leader/manager and possibly with the client.
• Monitor budget and schedule of requirements and point out discrepancies.
• Interpret regulations and guidelines.
• Make hour estimates for the project.
• Take part in meetings to discuss scope changes.
• Discuss technical requirements of the project.
• Liaise with clients and third parties.
• Check and monitor the quality of the supplied work.
• Supervise draughtsmen, designers and engineers with regard to implementation.
• Coordinate engineering and drawing work if multiple disciplines are involved.
• Report to the project leader/manager within the project.
• Implement TRAs for Health, Safety and Environment relevant to the job.

Your profile
• BSc degree or equivalent working and thinking level and at least 5 years of experience
• Have the necessary knowledge of regulations, guidelines and standards in his field, and interpret these in the correct way.
• experience with piping and mechanical is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office and software relevant to the field
• You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English both written and spoken
