RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an onshore position that is a critical component to ensuring proper planning and execution of post manufacturing services to our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, support of technical documentation, product design review and presentations, technical planning, customer interface, project execution, product troubleshooting, product maintenance, repair and refurbishment.

·  Reviews the work of others for accuracy and soundness of judgment. Potential errors may have significant impact on customer relationship.
·  Interacts with others to support efforts related to technical documentation, product design review and presentations, technical planning, customer interface, project execution, product troubleshooting, product maintenance, repair and refurbishment.
·  Focus on systems interface engineering.

MAIN TASKS:
·  Prepares, reviews and approves technical documentation related to engineering changes; ECN (Engineering Change Notices), part reports (Data Base Information) and engineering Designs engineering plans and reviews the work of others, evaluating the safety, effectiveness, and economic impact of designs and develops recommendations to optimize results, as needed.
·  Reviews/approves clear technical instructions regarding refurbishment, maintenance and/or repair of equipment following quality requirements.
·  Participates in project reviews and product design review and consults with other departments on designs and field related applications.
·  Sets asset management objectives, policies, models and processes.
·  Determine routine maintenance process, decisions, schedules and tasks. Develop asset life cycle phases.
·  Proactively participates in HSE initiatives, START, JSAs and risk assessments.
·  Uses sound judgment, safe work practices, and delivers high quality work on-time.
·  Prepares and presents technical data to internal and external customers.
·  Understands and applies industry code requirements, quality requirements, and customer requirements.
·  Uses the CAD and database systems to analyze designs and evaluate equipment systems.
·  Understands and interprets system, field and detailed schematics.
·  Specification/requirements and ensures conformance to all policies and procedures related to engineering deliverables.
·  Provides technical support for assembly/refurbishment and offshore operations as needed. Identifies root cause of problems and documents appropriately. Develops and communicates alternative solutions and associated benefits and risks.
·  Understands the subsea environment with respect to materials, corrosion (pitting, HISC, galvanic etc.), calcareous deposits and marine growth.
·  Understands different coating and surface treatment applications.
·  No offshore travel required

REQUIREMENTS:
·  8+ years as engineer in support of subsea services. Systems engineering knowledge is ideal for the job.
·  Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
·  Accuracy, dependability, ability to manage schedule and prioritize work for self and others in team.
·  Ability and initiative to independently communicate, gather information and make sound engineering decisions.
·  Comfortable taking lead roles in team coordination and oversight.
·  Working knowledge of subsea field infrastructure and/or drilling operations.
·  Skilled in CAD.
·  Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
·  Ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
·  Able to travel

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Spends 90% of time in office. Exposed to possible shop or lab hazards including high noise and heavy equipment when in those work areas. Some travel as necessary visiting TechnipFMC regional offices, plants and makes visits to existing and potential suppliers.
