Job Summary

As a project engineer, you are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of smaller projects or studies. Adherence to HSE Standards is of very important relevance, as is zero LTI. You will lead the planning and implementation of project, assemble and coordinate project staff, provide direction and support to project team. You facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, define project tasks and resource requirements and develop project execution plans. You are responsible for managing the project risks, budget and project resource allocation. You constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. You are the focal point in coordination and communication with client and management team and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions. You implement and manage project changes, interventions and manage problems to achieve project outputs. Furthermore, you perform project evaluations and assessment of results.

General Tasks


• Is aware and cares for Health, Safety & Environmental aspects during daily actions, and drives HSE performance throughout project and or internal/ external services activities.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of smaller projects or studies ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Specific Tasks
• Lead the planning and implementation of project
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements and develop project execution plans
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project risks, budget and project resource allocation
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Focal point in coordination and communication with client and management team
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes, interventions and manage problems to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results

Education, Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering
• Qualification in project management or equivalent
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Proficient in project management related software
Qualifications • Able to execute studies, small Feed and Engineering type of projects (< 15,000 man-hours)
• Able to execute small EP projects (< 10 MM Euro)
• Able to support (Sr.) Project Manager in executing project management tasks
Work experience • Several years of relevant experience
• Some experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management

Language English (Dutch)

Interfaces
Intern: Frequently contact with project team and all engineering departments
Extern: Frequently contact with vendors and clients
