Project Cost Controller

A Project Cost Controller at TechnipFMC is not just position; it's a key function with a high level of responsibility in the execution of multidisciplinary projects. You are responsible to set-up, implement and maintain cost control procedures for our projects.

As member of the project team you prepare budget estimates and ensure effective project implementation with the use of work breakdown structures. You control and monitor project total expenditure with the use of project management systems including purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project. You provide cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to support customer billing processes and contractual compliance.

Your responsibilities
·  Setting up cost control procedures and WBS
·  Setting up budgets/estimates and follow project costs
·  Estimation of total forecasts, quantity/costs and expected outcome, trend analysis
·  Provide risk and opportunity costs analysis on contracts
·  Control and approve vendor/subcontractors invoice
·  Assist project managers in optimizing project financial performance
·  Prepare periodic status/progress reports
·  Cash flow management on assigned projects
·  Assist with scope change preparation

Your profile

·  Bsc degree in engineering or equivalent at least 5 years of relevant experience
·  You have excellent knowledge of Dutch and English
·  Experience in Oil & Gas (EPCM)is preferred

You have a strong personality and well developed written power of expression. As a professional you use your analytical skills and proactive attitude in order to control risks and identify opportunities. You are also a team player with a flexible attitude
