DEPARTMENT:
The purpose of the Well Control & Manifold Sub System Performance Organization is to support operations and drive continuous improvement of Well Control and Manifold Products by evaluating events, trends and feedback throughout the product lifecycle to enable our business to develop or advance our products for existing and future market needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Performance Engineer's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring accurate, timely and continual product feedback to Product Engineering
• Identifying trends in product operational failure and operational inefficiencies
• Transforming product events, trends and feedback into opportunities for product improvement
• Will often be required to develop creative solutions for more complex and obstacle-ridden situations
• Responsible for using sound judgment, safe work practices, and delivering high quality work, on-time
• Responsible for safe, high quality, high quantity and on-time-delivery of assigned project deliverables

MAIN TASKS:
• Complete objectives, milestones, and schedule of technical deliverables.
• Completes Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend actions related to assigned products
• Evaluates product performance data to determine product performance trends
• Creates continuous product improvement opportunities based on evaluation of product events, trends and feedback.
• Updates/creates/reviews procedures and product documentation for service execution
• Collaboration with cross functional groups to improve execution of engineering requirements
• Continuously builds effective relationships with peers, customers, and industry representatives
• Ensures that technical data, services, and documentation are in compliance with internal and external requirements
• Create design changes/modifications to alleviate impact of product failures of delivered equipment
• Prepares and presents technical maintenance/service related data and solutions to internal and external customers
• Proactively participate in HSES initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
Must Have
• BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 5 to 10 years of experience in the field
• Strong technical skills in engineering
• Strong project management skills
• Good presentation and coaching skills
• Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills
• Understanding customer requirements and ability to translate them into product specifications
• Excellent command of English

EMS – Sub System Performance Requirements
• Is skilled in RCA methods and capable of implementing cross-functional corrective actions
• High degree of resourcefulness
• Possesses a customer-centric attitude, an ability to adapt to changes in scope, priority and customer requirements,
• Has technical well control & manifold interconnect product knowledge
• Able to work in situations of ambiguity, recommending process for completing assigned tasks where previously not defined.
