This is a staff role for TechnipFMC Process Technology, located in Houston, TX.

Process Engineer 1

Our Process Engineer 1 is an entry level position where you will be assigned to a project task force team working on technical and economic feasibility studies, licensed technology based process design packages, and process engineering support of detailed engineering activities. You will receive supervision and guidance from an experienced Process Engineering Supervisor, which will afford you an opportunity for substantive discussions and understanding of technical issues, as well as functional issues such as engineering workflow and the tasks taken on by each engineering discipline. You will have recently received your Masters of Science in Chemical Engineering with a 3.5, or higher, GPA and have a strong desire to grow professionally.

Travel the world! Our process engineer 1 will also have the opportunity for field assignments as part of a plant commissioning, startup and test run team which provides an excellent means for obtaining practical experience. Worksharing in other Technip offices is also a possibility.

Daily our Process Engineer 1 :

Ā·  Produce process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment datasheets, heat & material balances, piping line lists.
Ā·  Sizing and specification of major equipment and completion of hydraulic calculations are common
Ā·  Process simulation of unit operations such as Distillation, Reaction and Liquid Extraction for example.
Ā·  Liaison with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications:

Ā·  Masters in Chemical Engineering.
Ā·  3.5+ GPA
Ā·  Previous Engineering Internship is a plus.
Ā·  Knowledge of chemical plant simulators is preferable.
