Position: Principal Piping Designer

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Post-qualification Experience: Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in Concept study, FEED, Detailed Design & Engineering related to Process Piping for onshore & offshore oil & gas facilities.

Job Specification:

The requirement is to provide conceptual, basic, FEED and detailed engineering & design expertise related to Process Piping associated with modification and restoration of existing facilities ranging from minor field works to small & medium sized capital projects in Petroleum and Natural gas related industries.

It is mandatory to have sound experience in the work environment as mentioned above and must have the following skills / experience:

·  Highly Conversant with AutoCAD & E3D/PDMS
·  Reasonable Exposure in MicroStation, PDS & S3D
·  Development and checking of Plot plan & Conceptual piping study
·  Development and checking of Equipment Layouts & Piping General Arrangement drawings
·  Checking of Isometrics, Vessel Trim drawings, Vessel clip drawings & Nozzle Orientation drawings etc
·  Checking of Valve Schedule and Tie-in Schedule
·  Checking of Pipe support drawings and Pipe Support Schedule
·  Preparation and Checking of Piping MTO and Pipe support MTO
·  Vendor drawings & documents review
·  3D model review with client
·  Onshore / Offshore Site survey and preparation of Site survey report
·  Coordination with clients, vendors, subcontractors & other internal disciplines
·  Resolution of site/field/construction contractor quarries
·  Capable of guiding Piping Designers
·  ASME B31 Code for Pressure Piping and other standards referred therein, ASME / API Standards, NACE and other international codes & standards
·  Good written & oral communication skills of English language as necessary for performing the above tasks
