Principal Engineer- Metallurgist position will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting Energy projects in our west Houston office. Each day you will be an important team leader as you participate in the scoping studies to final design and commissioning of engineering projects. You should be a self-motivated, detailed oriented Metallurgist professional with 15 or more years of experience in oil and gas and petrochemical engineering facilities design.

Our Principal Engineer- Metallurgist:
•Provide material selection for equipment: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, rotating equipment; piping and piping components.
•Develop and maintain specifications for metallic materials, heat treatment, surface treatments and welding
•Provide technical expertise for internal engineering across the enterprise, as well as customers and suppliers.
•Assist procurement and quality with material issues

Qualifications:
15+ years experience
Bachelors Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Materials or Mechanical Engineering
