We are currently looking for a Planner (MRP Analyst) reporting to the Delivery Manager.

In this role you will monitor and evaluate the inputs and outputs of MRP for externally procured parts, components or materials in order to meet schedule requirements whilst optimizing inventory levels. You will accurately manage and maintain the SAP database ensuring each part is aligned with the Master Schedule for the sales demand it is to satisfy.

You will liaise on a daily basis with Procurement, Projects and Master Scheduling to ensure all demand is correct and aligned with Production Schedules. Provide clear ownership/responsibility for supply of each commodity group in Supply chain.

Main tasks

·  Create/release Purchase Requisitions for all procured parts and ensure alignment with MPS in a timely manner.
·  Report on open PO's/Requisitions to ensure exception messages for expedites, defers and cancellations are clear for buyers to action.
·  Evaluate all MRP Exception Messages for procured items and communicate priorities to the Value Streams as well as the Project Teams.
·  Coordinate actions to fix the root cause of any data errors in the Planning run (i.e. the MRP inputs)
·  Create backlog and forecast reports for issue to suppliers by Procurement when requested.
·  Lead work on data accuracy and quality of MRP inputs, to ensure MRP's output can be actioned with minimal intervention.

Our requirements are that you have:

·  A strong understanding of MRP systems - SAP preferred
·  Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
·  Problem solver
·  High level of attention to detail
·  Team player
·  Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
·  Able to work with minimum supervision while maintaining high level of accuracy
