Are you our new Piping Material Engineer in TechnipFMC, Kuala Lumpur?

Main Accountability

Prepare Piping Material Specification, Piping Material Management & Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor Data Review.

Job Main Challenges

· 
Select applicable standard, codes and specification and incorporate them in the job specification.

· 
Prepare summary of piping classes.

· 
Establish Piping Material Specification and ensure correct implementation to piping standard assemblies. Perform material selection.

· 
Prepare SP item List.

· 
Provide data for piping components to 3D Cad Administrator.

· 
Prepare valve datasheets and specialty items datasheets.

· 
Prepare Material Requisitions (MR).

· 
Prepare Job Specification for Supply (JSS) based on the project requirements.

· 
Prepare Technical Bid Tabulation (TBT).

· 
Review vendor documents and drawings after purchase order placement.

· 
Provide mechanical data for Line List. This includes piping pressure & NDE testing requirements.

· 
Summarize all BQ (Bill of Quantities) calculation. This includes total inch-dia , total surface area for painting and insulation when required.

You are meant for this job if:

· 
Recognized Degree in Materials Engineering.

· 
2-6 years of working experience in the area of Piping Material Engineering for Oil & Gas and Petrochemical field (especially EPC project experience).

· 
Willing to take on contract employment.
