We are currently looking for a Master Scheduler , reporting to the Delivery Manager.

In this role, you will be the owner of the Master Production Schedule of the assigned Production Area, and will create a plan that establishes the delivery program for the assigned area, reconciling customer demand with the capacity to supply it.


Main tasks

¡  Provide information on the capacity and capability to produce, according to business expectations, through the analysis of the installed capacity against the current and future demand.
¡  Provide information on the effectiveness of the usage of the productive resources in the assigned production area.
¡  Generate and update a Master Schedule for all backlog and forecast deliveries in the assigned area which is balanced with the capacity of the in-house and external production facilities, as well as the availability of externally sourced materials.
¡  Collate all issues affecting the ability to meet the existing Master Production Schedule, and work to seek resolutions with the relevant organizations and the assigned manufacturing team
¡  Provide input to the other capacity constrained organizations feeding into their area of scope to help build the required capacity to achieve the short-term and long-term strategic plans
¡  Manage Intercompany Purchase Orders related to the assigned production area, defining and maintaining the delivery schedule

Our requirements are that you have :

¡  Preferably a degree from a relevant business or technical field. HNC level or equivalent in related field as a minimum.
¡  A recognized Planning/Projects Qualification is desirable – APICS, APM, PMI.
¡  A strong understanding of Critical Path Planning
¡  An excellent understanding of business systems, P6 and MRP systems (SAP preferred)
¡  An understanding of LEAN Manufacturing and Processes
¡  The ability to understand and demonstrate Product Knowledge - solid practical understanding of Engineering BOM's and the Engineering Execution Process (EEP)
¡  Analysis of Material Demand and Creation & Management of Production Orders in SAP.
¡  Awareness of LEAN Manufacturing and Processes
¡  Demonstrable knowledge of Well Controls Subsea Products
¡  Strong experience in a Product Design and Manufacture Environment
¡  Strong experience in capacity planning/Master Scheduling
