The Global Sourcing and Procurement organization is looking for an IT Buyer.

You will be joining the IT Sourcing and Procurement organization in the Houston HQ and directly interact with the IT team. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of IT contracts and suppliers covering multiple IT domains and IT sub categories, with regular internal and external interactions. You will be supporting the IT domain owner's strategies in Sourcing and Procurement activities with objectives to optimize costs, achieve savings and protect group interests.

Must have:
- Strong Sourcing and Procurement background
- Good understanding of IT domains
- Proven rigor and ethic, negotiation ability, autonomy skills
- Be a team and process oriented spirit

Nice to have:
- Energy Industry experience

Missions:

- Manage IT contracts with anticipation and issue commitments to suppliers
- Deliver in a timely manner goods and services which fulfill business needs and ensure the best value creation
- Protect TechnipFMC interests, ensure best usage of existing agreements, and focus on cost optimization and saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with group internal policies and procedures
- Report on achievements
- Contribute to internal projects

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Procurement management
•Requirements analysis, sourcing and RFP management
o Analyze the needs expressed by IT teams
o Leverage existing agreements, perform market analysis whenever needed
o Determine the sourcing strategy in liaison with direct line manager
o Support RFP process

• Negotiation
o Lead commercial negotiation, support IT category strategy on costs model orientation
o Manage regular communication and close collaboration with internal stakeholders (client, finance) during negotiation steps
o Challenge proposals and negotiate the best commercial terms

• Contract Management
o Lead contractual discussion in partnership with Legal Adviser
o Manage discussions with vendor, identify risk
o Manage regular communication and close collaboration with internal client during contractual steps

• Procurement
o Anticipate the PO renewal and ensure 0 delay
o Check consistency of the PO against contract terms and conditions
o Submit PO in approval workflow and follow up until final approval and signature, manage PO issuance to vendors
o Monitor the efficiency of the PO issuance process
o Lead discussions with vendors in case of questions or litigation

• Savings
o Identify savings opportunities, related action plan to be discussed with the direct report line
o Formalize the savings and benefits obtained during the commercial and contractual phases

Contract and Vendor base management
• Data management
o Keep updated the list of contracts
o Contribute to improve the quality of contractual data
o Follow up of the contractual milestones, manage priorities
o Regular reviews with the direct report line on priorities

• Vendor management
o Manage the list of vendors and relevant data
o Asses vendors, submit requests for creation or extension
o Evaluate vendor performance with internal client
o Support IT domain owners in vendor relationship management

Compliance and quality

• Standardization
o Apply existing policies, and templates
o Ensure Mandatory involvement of Legal for any contractual activities

• Excellence
o Monitoring the PO process flow
o Ensure all IT needs are covered by a PO, and all PO's are supported by a contract
o Ensure all contracts are allocated to the relevant internal roles
o Ensure there is no delay in PO issuance or contract renewal

Experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of procurement/contract management experience

Education

• Bachelor degree preferred
