Job Title: Communications Assistant, UK

Job purpose: To support and coordinate all internal and external communications activities for TechnipFMC’s UK Subsea business.

Reporting lines and interactions:

Hierarchically reports to: Communications Manager UK

Operationally reports to: As above

Directlysupervises: n/a

Key interactions (internally, externally): UK management team and employees, UK Communications team, Norway and Europe Region Communications, Corporate and Marketing Communications networks

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria): Work as part of the UK Communications team to support and coordinate internal and external communications activities for TechnipFMC’s UK Subsea business.


Must have: HND / Degree in a Communications, Marketing or Media related subject

Nice to have:

Typical background and experience required:

Must have: Interest in and ability to liaise with people at all levels of the organisation, attention to detail, team player, willing to learn.

Nice to have: Prior experience useful but not essential. Microsoft SharePoint, digital marketing, graphic design, photography or video experience would be beneficial.

Main accountabilities: Key activities for this role will include;

·Provide support and advice to departments for communications projects

·Content management for internal communication channels including Intranet, Yammer and Digital Signage

·Co-ordination of internal events, such as Town halls, campaigns and special events

·Support for / co-ordination of Corporate, Regional and local projects / activities as required

·Provide support to Communications Manager in the event of an ER / Crisis Communication scenario

·Other internal and external communications duties as required
