TAYLOR BENNETT FOUNDATION SUMMER STARS WORK PLACEMENT PROGRAMME

We are searching for black and ethnic minority (BAME) graduates who are interested in a career in PR, for an unrivalled opportunity to gain invaluable experience on a paid placement with an in-house communications team or agency.

We have a range of placements available, you will not be able to choose where you are sent but they are all excellent agency or in-house placements. You will be placed by Taylor Bennett Foundation’s experienced selection team at the company best suited to you.

There is a range of durations for the internship; 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 6 months.

You first attend a week of PR lectures, to be held from Monday 25th – Friday 29th June 2018 at London College of Communication. The talks will provide a beginner’s guide to PR, insight into the different strands of the sector, and an overview of the latest trends in media, PR and corporate communications and will be presented by several leading PR practitioners.

The placement will follow this, with most starting on Monday 2nd July.

You will be paid minimum wage for the duration of the lecture week and your placement.

The Summer Stars work placement programme is open to BAME school leavers aged 18 and over, current students and graduates (within three years of graduating).
