Job description
Introduction:
The CEO of Syntegra Group co-founded Gravitas Property Group Ltd. The Syntegra Group are a multi-award-winning International planning specialist and multi-discipline engineering design consultancy. The Gravitas Property Group are a Thames Valley based property development company undertaking & delivering on a wide range of premium residential building projects, primarily across the capital and Home Counties.
The founders have a wealth of experience in all types of building construction projects nationwide, both residential & commercial, but our core focus now is in ‘High End’ residential developments.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
• Compulsory skills to include experience and confidence undertaking development appraisals
• Adobe and Microsoft Excel, Office and PowerPoint
• Argus Developer or equivalent (preferable)
• Your accuracy, efficiency and good communication skills will help facilitate the smooth running of the projects you will be getting involved with. You must naturally be a self-starter and good networker. You must adopt an entrepreneurial attitude and ‘think outside the box’ at all times
Other responsibilities:
• Property development financial appraisals using Argus Developer for potential acquisition targets (including modelling various investment and build cost values)
• Industry trend research for the construction/property sectors and property investment areas
• Assist in supplier selection and negotiations
• Assist with regards to arranging finance/valuations/legals/Planning/Development
• Update key client brief technical documents
• Assist the MD in selecting investment opportunities for acquisitions or JV financing
• Development research (e.g. planning history, search data)
• Currently studying or a degree in surveying or equivalent property development/investment experience (preferential)
3-6 Month placement. Self funded work experience or funded internship for current Students
OR Graduate Part-time role circa (2 days per week minimum).
