You will join SUEZ Europe & Central Asia, a Business Unit (BU) looking to achieve significant growth in its Water and Waste activities in the countries selected in the Group's strategic roadmap for the medium-term plan. The ambition is strong, but the BU wants to develop its activities notably in the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and potentially Spain. However, we also need to keep a close eye on the market, so that we can potentially develop in other countries in the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Position Summary:

In the framework of the Tashkent Water and Sanitation Transformation Plan (TWSTP), the water & wastewater treatment manager is responsible for the achievement of the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) on water quality.

She/he implements the actions plans related to the improvement of drinking water and wastewater treatment with the help of SUEZ experts.

She/he, with the support of the Performance Manager and the experts of SUEZ, provides a global understanding of the performance of the water and the wastewater treatment plants, and benchmark performance against other water utilities around the world.

She/he manages a small team of local experts

Responsibilities & Duties

·  Is responsible of the budget (amount, schedule) related to water and wastewater treatment plants (6,1 M€).
·  Coordinates internally the execution of the TWSTP related to the DWTP & WWTP (sensors, laboratory equipment, dosing station) and get approval from TSST.
·  Validates and implements the actions plans concerning the improvement of the drinking water and wastewater treatment.
·  Coordinates the Technical Assistance provided by SUEZ Group on the projects related to the DWTP (Drinking Water Treatment Plant) and the WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant)
·  Proposes and follows quantitative and qualitative monitoring of the performance of the DWTP & WWTP. Sets up operational indicators and follows them.
·  Participates in the TECREX meetings of SUEZ.
·  Participates in Suez training.
·  Follows up changes in the national and international regulations in water quality (GOST & WHO). Evaluates the impact of these changes.

WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE ?

Qualifications:

·  Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent related with to water & wastewater treatment.
·  Previous experience in water & wastewater treatment projects.
·  Previous experience in project management of investment.

Necessary Knowledge:

·  Practical knowledge of water & wastewater treatment.
·  Practical knowledge of managing investment projects.
·  Ability to prepare detailed, data-driven reports for management or client.
·  Ability to manage budget and manpower.
·  Ability to convince the Client

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:

·  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Russian is a plus.
·  Excellent technical writing skills for use in development of engineering reports and studies
·  Time management and strong ability to meet deadlines.
·  Hardworking, disciplined, enthusiastic, dynamic.
·  Self-motivated, team-oriented, organized, and able to successfully multitask.
