WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
SUEZ’ Optimatics is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our Strategic Support Team and help our customer’s planners and engineer to better allocate their investments for water & waste water infrastructures.
As part of the Strategic Support Team, you will support existing and new clients’ use of the Optimizer software to help optimize planning decisions within water infrastructure networks. Some background in hydraulic modeling is required, and ability to work closely with clients to help train and deliver successful hydraulic optimization analyses.
You will be carrying out innovative improvements to existing software products and develops innovative new software products from concept through to deployment. Conducts technical development and liaises with Software Developers, Hydraulic Engineers, Sales and Marketing and Clients to ensure the innovation is appropriately suited to the needs of the market.
Which skills and experiences you will need to succeed in this role?
UK VIE regulation: the candidate needs to be undergraduate or graduated since less than 2 years. He needs to demonstrate an English level of B2 dated of less than two years (IELTS – level 6 • TOEFL – score 60-78 • TOEIC – score 605)
· Master’s degree, or higher, in Civil/Environmental Engineering
· Fluent in English
Required technical Skills:
· Knowledge of and experience with optimization techniques and their application to water systems
· Data science experience, including data interpretation & visualization tools (ex PowerBI)
· Proficient in GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
· Understanding of and practical experience working on public utility asset management challenges & projects
