We are looking for

VIE O&M Technical Support Engineer M/W

Role and Responsibilities:

Based in Barka, you will work in close collaboration with the Operation Manager, the Maintenance Manager and the Start-up Engineers to provide a technical support for the Operation team and the Maintenance team of the largest desalination plant of Oman. You shall ensure a follow-up of the different O&M activities occurring on-site.

·  Application of processes, tools and methods of operation
·  Follow-up of the O&M activities and O&M procedures
·  Technical Support for the teams
·  Monitoring the learning of theteams
·  Follow-up of the progressive control of the units by the operational teams
·  Actions to improve the plant's O & M
·  Compliance with contractual obligations
·  Application of Health, Safety and Security rules
·  Control of technical and operational risks
·  Identification of drift and penalty risks, opportunities to improve technical and commercial performance and participation in the definition and monitoring of corresponding action plans



Postition Requirements:

·  Master of Science in Engineering, specialization in Water Chemistry, Process Engineering or Environment.
·  A previous experience within Reverse Osmosis / Water / Waste industry in Construction is a plus.
·  One experience in O&M activities in a multinational company.
·  Junior engineer profile with at least one significant experience in a multi-cultural environment preferably in Middle East, Africa or Asia,
·  Fluent in English. Arabic and/or Hindi is a plus.
·  European Union Members

Organization skills, Editorial skills, Communications skills,able to demonstrate creativity andinitiative to ensure optimal activities, enthusiastic and team-orientedapproach, organized, rigorous and detail oriented,high level of commitment andintegrity, able to work under pressure in afast-pace environment, able towork in a multicultural environment and to maintain effective working relations with people ofdifferent cultural backgrounds from Project management to technician level.
