Job description

Test Development :

a)    Feasibility study on conversion projects from legacy platform to newer tester platform. Liaise with division on additional test requirements and propose suitable test cell for optimized parallelism to achieve highest throughput.

b)    Design new hardware on both tester and handler, develop and debug test program until completion with optimized test time.

c)    Correlate the test results with existing legacy tester and perform additional check to ensure test robustness and hazardous free test conditions.

d)    Design and develop Burn In solution including recipe development and test hardware, driver cards, BIB design.

Production support :

a)    Troubleshoot and resolve escalated production over rejects due to hardware issue. Assist in jig repair to identify malfunction component. Locating faulty tester instrument / hardware with root cause finding to prevent reoccurrence.

 
b)    Collaborate with maintenance, test, quality, and product department to improve test robustness on hardware and test program. Update test program to resolve bugs and adding new tests for better coverage requirements.

 
c)    Yield improvement project by optimizing test methodologies and adhere to programming best practices to reduce test instability and thus improve overall product yield.

Profile

- Good programming skill eg Visual Basic, C, C++

- Good understanding on ATE testing concept and Burn in concept

- understand test hardware concept and able to design and debug

- knowledge in ATE tester eg Teradyne testers, Advantest..etc

- good communication skill and able to work as a team with different parties

- understand test methodology and able to perform program coding from scratch
