Job description

The final goal is to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered products satisfies customer requirements and matches ST values and business models for a range of imaging automotive and consumer products.

- Working with an international core team in several locations you will ensure follow-up of the quality aspects of new Products Development using checklists and reviews with core team members (engineering, design, validation, application, operations, marketing, program management, planning) to aligning risk, action and schedule to product and customer quality requirements.

Validate the product reliability strategy, and propose the required budget, - plan and schedule to subcontract the activity
Coordinate the specification and validation of the electrical activations necessary for the reliability tests, and ensure the reliability stress test environment availability (hardware development and manufacturing by subcontractors, patterns development, solution debug)
- In close link with the defined Reliability & FA subcontractors, manage the reliability assessment execution, and drive the problem solving activities in case of rejects (failure analysis, root cause analysis, risk assessment, corrective and preventive actions)
- Consolidate the Quality & Reliability status and reports (internal and customer)
- Propose the decision for product maturity approval, support the gap analysis risk assessment and mitigation plan

- You will have direct contact with customers for management of
customer complaints supervising failure analysis activity, using problem solving and risk analysis techniques definition and verification of containment and corrective actions, for one or several products.

- Customer support for audit in manufacturing plants

- Member of the material Review Board you will  dispose the material in order to prevent issue and excursion to customer.

 As local team lead you will take the additional responsibility

- To ensure the coherence of methods used and consolidate the status and reports to the European Business Line Quality Manager.

- Define, explore and develop the expertise and partnerships required for outsourcing solutions required for imaging product qualifications.

- Consolidate the reliability and FA  outsourcing offer.
Sustain and cross fertilize the obtained methods and solution within  ST

Profile

Electronics background with knowledge or Semiconductor, Front End and/or Back End Process.

Experience in reliability testing, failure mechanism and FA techniques is required with an experience in team management preferable.

Experience of automotive standards and requirements for product qualification AEC Q100, IATF 16949 / ISO 9001, ISO26262.

Knowledge of External complaint flow, Problem solving and prevention management, Statistical Process Control and data analysis, change management  A.P.Q.P /, Design Of Experiment (D.O.E), FMEA, Production Part Approval Process, and Project Management,

Customer focused with team spirit,  you will have strong oral and written communication and have demonstrated leadership, autonomy, adaptability and flexibility to different situations.
