Job description

The candidate will design and develop independently Firmware and Software applications for embedded real-time systems for GNSS positioning applications, with focus to cybersecurity solutions, ensuring company quality standards of the deliverable. 

The candidate will write clear and accurate technical documents.

The candidate is an Electronic/Computer Engineer (previous experiences of more than 3 years is a plus) in Firmware and Embedded Real-Time software design (architecture, event management, real time performances). The candidate is a fast learner, independent, flexible and able to work within interdisciplinary groups.

Knowledge of English language (read and write) is mandatory, availability to travel in Italy and abroad are also required.

Specific Skills

The following skills are recommended:

·  C and C++ programming languages Experience on ARMv5 and ARMv7 architectures and related assembly language
·  Software toolchain (ARM RVCT, GNU ARM for Embedded)
·  Version Control Tools (CVS/SVN/GIT)
·  Use of debugging strategies (JTAG emulators like Lauterbach, Segger, runtime and post mortem analysis)
·  Software requirement and traceability tools (Bugzilla)
·  FW/Embedded Real Time software design (architecture, event management, real time performances)
·  Embedded RealTime OS (FreeRTOS)
·  Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation

Plus Skills

·  Good knowledge of buses (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, CAN, SD, ...) driver development
·  Knowledge of Automotive sector
·  Knowledge of Cybersecurity and related standards
·  Knowledge of ADAS Knowledge of International standards for software quality, quality models, and functional safety (i.e. MISRA, Spice level 3, ISO/IS 26262)
·  Knowledge of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems): GPS, Galileo, Glonass, Beidou, SBAS
