YOUR ROLE

The Data Engineer Intern will play a vital role in supporting our data-driven initiatives by assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. The intern will work closely with our data engineering team to ensure the seamless flow of data across various systems, enhance data quality, and optimize data processing workflows. This hands-on experience will provide the intern with valuable exposure to real-world data engineering projects, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field, while making a significant impact on our organization.

·  Collaborate with the data engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines, ensuring the seamless flow of data across various systems and platforms.
·  Assist in data pre-processing and data analysis tasks, including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation, to enhance data quality and consistency.
·  Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, develop, and optimize data processing workflows, and ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

·  Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
·  Familiarity with data processing frameworks and technologies such as Databricks, Air Flow, Spark, and/or SQL databases
·  Proficiency in Python programming language
·  Experience in web development is also preferrable
·  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
·  Good communication and collaboration skills; A team player
·  Minimum internship duration: 3 months or longer
