Job Description
STMicroelectronics (Malta) Ltd. are seeking to recruit a Customer Quality Engineer to work within its Quality Department. The position holder must be meticulous on his/her job and attentive to detail. The role involves being part of and actively contributing to Quality Improvement Teams and Customer Quality Incident responses with the aim to drive Continuous Quality Improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Collaborating with various internal departments during the course of investigation and troubleshooting linked to customer incidents.
· Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements and ensure that they are effective.
· Act as the interface with external functions (Division, Central and Corporate Groups).
· Support in quality improvement programs following the Six-Sigma Methodology.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate shall:
· Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
· Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
· Strong analytical mindset and proven problem‑solving capabilities.
· Relevant experience in customer quality engineering or a similar quality‑driven role, preferably within a technical or manufacturing environment.
