Job description
As a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility team, you will be responsible for managing ST’s worldwide compliance to Company and industry labor and human rights standards, ensuring that ST’s performance is aligned with our strategy and meets external stakeholders’ expectations.
Responsibilities include:
· Designing and deploying social compliance programs in ST operations worldwide. This includes providing training and support for ST sites on the Company’s labor and human rights standards.
· Evaluating the risk of non-compliance and the potential business impact, and monitoring the performance of sites.
· Managing ST’s internal social responsibility audit program to monitor compliance. This includes defining the program, coordinating and planning audits, conducting internal audits, following-up corrective actions, maintaining tools and documentation and building a team of internal auditors.
· Organizing 3rd party assessments and audits in ST manufacturing sites worldwide and supporting the sites for corrective actions.
· Identifying emerging risks by monitoring external trends, and benchmarking.
· Contributing to industry standards by participating in external working groups to ensure the standards meet the requirements and are reasonable and applicable.
· Consolidating results for quarterly and annual reporting.
This job requires traveling to ST sites around the world to conduct internal audits.
Profile
· Fluent English (written and spoken)
· Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of management with a high level of credibility
· Collaboration and teamwork mindset, and the ability to drive and engage internal stakeholders located around the world and to work with multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural environment.
· Strong analytical skills and management system knowledge, and the ability to conduct audits.
· Interest in Corporate Social Responsibility, as well as a sound knowledge of related regulations, frameworks, and standards. Knowledge of the Responsible Business Alliance standard and management system is a plus.
