 POSTING PRESENTATION:

The Application Team of the Automotive Microcontroller Business Unit,
part of the Automotive Processing and RF Division, is looking for
an application engineer to support automotive microcontroller product lines.
In the context of Automotive MCU Application team, the candidate will:
perform application validation of new MCU products
support customers' projects on both hardware and software aspects
support pre and post silicon activities
provide MCU standard benchmark figures
contribute and review of technical documentation
prepare application and technical notes for specific applications
provide reference code for automotive applications
address safety and security aspects of automotive applications
perform power consumption campaign for automotive MCUs
define, design and implement reference code for car electrification building blocks

The candidate will work in a challenging and dynamic context, in close collaboration with field application engineers, hardware designers, technical marketing, as well as customers and partners.

PROFILE REQUIRED:

·    Mandatory skills:
Microcontrollers architecture
ARM core architectures (M4, R52)
C programming languages and embedded OS (Linux, FreeRTOS)
Software tools and use of debuggers for embedded systems (Lauterbach, PLS)
Software development for embedded systems
Working knowledge of board schematics, circuit designs
Additional skills:
Communication IPs (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, CAN, PCIe,)
Safety and Security

English language and availability to travel.
Team working, communication skills, good interpersonal behavior.
